Solidworks World 2010 is over and now is time to reengage in discovery for new

methodologies when utilizing Simulations.

Next Meeting Agenda

Hello all,

I am planning to have a meeting for the Houston Cosmos (Simulation) user group.

The meeting should occur in early May, topics will be of the following:

• Fundamental understanding of FEM, FEASimple examples that illustrate correct assumptionsHow to read colorful pictures and their meaning
• Understanding of high stress concentrations

We will also have two guest lecturers from Texas A&M University. The first will be Pradeep Rao, PhD student, will present basic FEM ideas and meshing.The second is Dr. Duggleby, a Computational flow dynamics (CFD) expert, will present basics of CFD and their limitations.

Please respond to this email with  additional ideas that may be of interest to you, so that we may include them and establish total time required for the meeting.
